pure brilliant white

this is an interior decorating post, I PROMISE no politics

I’ve taken objection to the pure brilliant white in our kitchen twice over the past few years. The first time, it was because the kitchen looked like this:

This was the kitchen when we moved in

We were planning to live with it for a bit, but:

1) not cosy!

2) white floor tiles + muddy dog = hard bloody work

3) when I marvelled at the surface on the island…
